The Las Vegas Courtesan

Last night was frustrating and busy at the same time. With the marathon going, road closures people freaked out and half of the casinos were completely impassable. That left all of the calls to off Strip locations or anything on the East side of the Strip. I stayed busy pretty late and did well but thrown in the middle had to have been one of the worst prank calls someone has played on the service.

I went to the Hampton Inn for a service and was informed that it was one older guy  (I don’t know why they even bother with saying  “older” when most of the time the guy ends up being 25) and should be a pretty good call. I drive over there avoiding any closures I could, she gives me the room number and says she just got off the phone with him so he’s definitely in the room. I go upstairs and as I get off the elevator I see two younger guys walking down a hall in the opposite direction carrying something. I don’t think of it since she said the customer was older. I go to knock on the door and… I knock some more. No answer! I saw someone peek around the corner but still thought nothing of it. I call the service and tell her the situation and as she calls the customers cell phone, the door flies open and there stands a woman who is in her third trimester who woke out of a deep sleep. She invites me in since I know the name of her husband who is waking in the bed. After I say to the phone girl “this is a damn prank”, the wife informs me they are there with a bunch of military guys and picks up her phone to call exactly the guy who prank called in the first place (I guess they do dumb stuff constantly). I hear giggling at the end of the hallway and confirm to the phone girl that indeed this is a terrible prank that just got pulled on a husband and very pregnant wife.  I felt kinda bad for her but she actually felt worse for wasting my time! She walked me downstairs and said, “I swear I will kill those guys for messing with you”. How sweet ☺

Don’t get me wrong, people prank call a lot to their friends but usually once the guys start giggling and hanging up its pretty obvious… or they call the room and the guy they are pulling the prank on is irate that someone keeps calling them saying a girl is coming up to see them.  I can’t believe how rude someone could be, though, to pull one on a pregnant woman!

I guess thats what comes with being more popular. Ah well its worth it in the end when it comes down to business.

So today was the latest prankster from New Mexico who talked faster than anything I have ever heard plus his heavy hispanic accent made me say “huh” and “what” every two seconds. After finally understanding him he wanted to be “friends” with me and talk on the phone. Sorry but no can do. I asked if he was coming to Vegas and he replied with “maybe”. I said when you are for sure and here in Vegas I would love to come see you but until then, I’m sorry I can’t chat on the phone. I come home to get ready for the day and he calls back again saying that he wants to come to Las Vegas but isn’t sure and “how much for a blow job”. I explain that prostitution is illegal and my normal speech and he asked me yet again after that. I hung up. Called back AGAIN and I just made sure he would never call again so I was silly and said I was going to call the cops if he did it again. Heh well it worked!

The funniest call this week? Oklahoma boy with a strong accent calls up on a Saturday at 3pm asking an odd request:
“I would just like someone to come over, wax my eyebrows and talk dirty in my ear”
I could barely hold back a laugh. I said I can definitely do the second request but not the first because well… I am an escort not and aesthetician! He said “well why not? I am not asking for sex I just want my eyebrows waxed and talked dirty to!” Again I repeated I can’t fulfill that request… and he said back:
“Well what kind of entertainer are you?!”
I hung up. I have to say that was about the funniest call.

So this week is convention season galore! March and such is known for the heavy conventioneer traffic plus spring break students (I am not too fond of) and March Madness. This week has been ConExpo (construction guys love hot girls), ShoWest (stage and production convention who also like hot girls) and some other smaller nerdy computer conventions.

My website has been picking up some steam and I have seen a pretty big increase in calls that come from my site or the ads I have on the internet. Good! My time and money is going to something profitable! Of course what comes along with it is more prank callers along with the people who are serious and want someone to come over!

I got an email from a guy who was staying at the Wynn and just emailed back and forth for a while but when I asked for a contact number several times I never got one nor an actual call from the guy. I said if you don’t give me a number then how can I meet up with you? Finally I get one and I talk to the guy and we plan on meeting at the Wynn at Midnight and gave me his room number along with the registered name on the room (you have to have in order to call people and verify they are really staying in that hotel). Well I made a HUGE mistake and didn’t call the Wynn to see if he was telling the truth about the room information. Really dumb mistake because on my way over there and having called the services I work for that I was going somewhere I finally called to make sure he was in the room. The operator said back to me after I gave the name and number he gave me, “I’m sorry but that guest is not registered to this hotel”. I was so mad at myself I couldn’t believe it. The man didn’t answer his phone after that and after talking to a phone girl at a service he had apparently been making the same idiotic move with them. What person is that bored and needy to write emails and call around town to waste time? Be a man and actually get a girl! What a waste of space.

Along with that winner of a guy I got a call of a man who sounded like he was smacking himself on the phone and another guy in from the Nascar races who planned two appointments but no showed on both of them. Sigh! I wish I could get credit card numbers and hold some sort of deposit to make people take my time seriously.

On the other hand I had two calls from couples that same week who ended up being generous on their donations and weren’t difficult to make their session a good one. I always like those calls… if only they were all that way! Anyway I must go… I am out of town currently and finally got a chance to sit down and write something to post! So frustrating.
