You Know Times Are Tough In Las Vegas When…
Girls who formerly would leave tip money in the rooms after they received the company fee now take whatever they can. May sound like girls may have finally gotten the clue (as they should) but this actually came as a SHOCKER to me the other day. Carrie and I (she is one who has notoriously left $400-$500 in a room) went to a call at the Hooters Hotel for a bachelor party earlier last week. She groaned because she didn’t want to do a bachelor party (I agree they are a little tiresome) but her reasoning’s was not because it was a bachelor party, but because she fell and had bruised her leg up. She didn’t want to make a bad impression of the company to the customers. Okay, that sounds slightly more reasonable excuse. She said never mind her bruises she would go try the party with me.
We go up to the room, collect the agency fee quickly and the guy promptly tells us that the tips they are working with is $100 a girl. Yikes. Now in the past this girl would have scoffed, called the agency and said, “You have got to be kidding me to send me to this shit! Get them two more girls they have $100 to work with” and may have stomped out of the room dragging me in tow. This time, she absolutely stunned me with her response of, “Okay well we can only focus on the bachelor but we will have a good time!” She gets the tip from the organizer, gets naked and proceeds to the main part of the room to begin the party. We give some dances to the bachelor and then she progresses to giving short little dances to the other 5 guys in the room. Wow… she is really going out of her way for this $70! (with the agency we have to tip 20%-30% so we haven’t even made our own $100 yet) After a quick dance with them all we kick the guys out to give the bachelor some private time. She tells him to take his pants off and starts giving him a hand-job. I become even more shocked because this is the girl who has in the past left several hundred dollars in a room because she didn’t want to give a blowjob or hand job for less than $800. So after a few minutes she finally asks if he wants to upgrade his entertainment to oral which surprisingly he agrees and gives us another $200 a piece. We start back up again and the customer finishes with the entertainment she promised.
I think about a year ago if I was on the same call and in the same situation with Carrie that party wouldn’t have happened for less than a $1500 tip for each girl. No joke! I am glad she has seemed to understand that money is money and you have to compromise to make things work out. I think she did a little too much for the original $100 but it luckily all worked out in the end.

My prices haven’t changed much, but how much I’ll do when and where has. You have to change with the times, with the economy.

Wow.
October 14th, 2008 at 12:17 pmYea I have always been the girl who tries to work things out no matter what. I have changed with the times as far as trying to have more patience with calls that don’t have the cash instead of getting a little ticked at whoever sent me to the call. You have to be more patient and attentive with people because they are trying to scrounge up as much as they can these days to get a girl. I still have the draw the line though… if its not worth it and the client wants too much for their small budget, then I have to walk away

October 15th, 2008 at 1:33 pmIm seeing what you described happening a lot. Times are tough and competition is fierce, girls are going on jobs last year they would have turned down and making the best of bad situations. I think it will all even out in the end but sometimes you just gotta get though it. Only the strong will survive.
Oh and BTW im gonna be in Vegas next week. 🙂
October 17th, 2008 at 7:50 amTell me about it. In my massage parlor, business tanked last winter and hasn’t recovered yet. This time a year ago, the usual session was a mutual at $150, plus the occasional “option” for an extra $100. Now the usual is a topless at $80 and extras are almost unheard of. Plus the number of customers is down about a third.
A job in the mall is looking better and better!

October 17th, 2008 at 10:11 amThis reminds me of a recent interaction I had with a dancer. I had seen her in a previous visit to the club but already had my fun for the night and was waiting for my friend. We spoke for a few minutes when she asked if I was going to get any dances and I let her know I was done for the night. She pushed the subject and I told her I only had $2. She then ask, “well do you need it.”
I was a bit floored but I guess she needed it more than I.
By the way I really enjoy your site.
