Wonderful blog, Courtesan. I've know a few working girls but I've never talk shop with them. I never really cared to talk about the nuts and blots biz fearing I might embarrass them, or myself. Most girls, probably don't want to tell stories about being arrested. Well, face-to-face anyways. Thanks for the insight.

There are many girls out there who work to keep the image of the stereotypical escort alive and well; although, I am amazed by the number of the girls I've met who not only have a head on their shoulders and are great conversationalists, but have their lives in good order.

I'm sure you are asked this question on a regular basis: Tell me, knowing the risks, what is it that most compels a girl, like you, to go into the escorting business. I'm looking for an honest answer here... the adventure, the sexuality, money, easy hours, catering to men?

I remember talking to an escort who in that past was pretty successful in a nine-to-five job; it did not seem to be a cover story since she was very specific and knowledgeable. It didn't feel like is was about money or sex (if I were and escort that would be my reason), just the freedom of setting her own hours and travel, the wanderlust. But whatever the reason is, it must be very strong to deal with these types of hazards on a regular basis. I suppose, after you know what you are doing, the risks are minimalized; but considering that you can end up in jail, what is it that keeps you going?

Oh no! As soon as I read the "and maybe a little blowjob for him" part I had to cringe. What an awful turnout. I'm glad you got lucky, well... in one sense of the term.

I'm conflicted reading your blog; my initial reaction is you're too talented at writing and photography to be working in this business but at the same time I find your talent very sexy and of course it makes me want to book you. Damn you! :-)

I have noticed the outrage lately from some blogger's on the CL crackdown in some states. While I don't think society has anything to worry about from an escort who has the sophistication to blog I don't know how they (guardians of our morals) are suppose to deal with the bottom of the food chain in prostitution. I saw recently a news show about the Oakland Ca police picking up underage and in some cases kidnapped girls who's pimps were running them from CL. Certainly in your case the police seemed to be more concerned about meeting a quota than preventing a tragedy. Maybe this is where registration would be beneficial.
I continue to enjoy your blog and pic's...keep it up.
